What kind of surplus boxes do you buy?＋
Used Gaylords, corrugated shipping cartons, pallets and box accessories, in reusable condition and in bulk. The load does not have to be pretty — it has to be dry, structurally sound and worth a truck. Single skids are usually better handled as a recycling pickup than a purchase.
How long does a valuation take?＋
Send counts and photos and a firm buy price normally comes back within about 48 hours, freight included. If we need more detail we ask for a couple of specific pictures rather than sitting on it.
Do I have to sort or grade the boxes myself?＋
No, but a rough sort pays for itself. Separating Gaylords from cartons and single-wall from multi-wall — even a loose A/B/C split — raises what the load is worth, because we can price known stock instead of pricing the risk of an unknown mix.
Who pays for the freight on the pickup?＋
For qualifying loads we arrange the freight and often cover it, and payment follows verified receipt of the material. That is the whole point: what used to be a disposal line item comes back as revenue plus a diversion number.
What happens to boxes that are too damaged to resell?＋
They still do not go to landfill. Board that cannot ship again becomes dunnage, divider stock or upcycled goods, and only genuinely spent fiber gets baled for recycling. A damaged load may not earn a check, but it can still offset what you were paying to throw it away.
