The question we get most
Somewhere in nearly every first conversation, a new customer asks for our phone number. When we explain that we do not have one, the reaction ranges from mild surprise to open suspicion. So let me answer it properly, once, in writing — which is rather the point.
We are a deliberately email-first business. There is no hold music, no phone tree, no "your call is important to us." There is a form on every page of this site and an inbox behind it that a real person reads.
Boxes are a details business
A box order is full of specifics: dimensions, wall count, grade, quantity, pickup versus delivery, dock hours, freight class. Say those numbers out loud on a call and half of them get written down wrong. Type them into a form and they arrive exactly as intended.
Every quote we send is built on a written record. When a load ships, we can point to precisely what was agreed, because it is all there in a thread. That protects the customer at least as much as it protects us.
A small team, fully focused
We are not a call center, and we do not want to become one. A ringing phone pulls someone off the grading floor or away from routing a truck to give a rushed, half-informed answer. An email lets the right person answer the right question with the actual numbers in front of them.
The result is slower by seconds and better by a mile. Most emails get a substantive reply the same day, often within a couple of hours during business hours.
“A phone interrupts. An inbox waits. We would rather answer well than answer instantly.”
It keeps our prices honest
Call centers cost money, and that money ends up in the price of the product. By skipping the phone infrastructure entirely, we keep our overhead low, and used boxes are a thin-margin business where that discipline matters.
Every dollar we do not spend on being reachable by phone is a dollar that stays out of your per-box price.
How to actually reach us
If email genuinely will not work for your situation, tell us in a message and we will find a way. But nine times out of ten, writing it down is faster than you expect — and you get a record you can forward, file and refer back to.
- Use the form on any page — it reaches the same inbox and carries the page you were on for context.
- Email us directly for general questions or to send photos of a load you want to sell.
- Expect a written quote, usually within one business day, with freight included.
